In this talk, Austin Gil discusses some of the benefits and pitfalls of CSS-in-JS versus. atomic CSS and how he's combining the benefits of each in his latest project, Particles CSS. Particles CSS is a Vite plug-in that works very much like any other CSS-in-JS library for writing styles, but any reference to that library is removed at build time and replaced with static strings of atomic class names.
