Gerald Deck

Gerald Deck serves as Akamai’s International Managing Director, leading the company’s International Operating Committee. The committee sets the strategy for the development, maintenance, protection, and utilization of Akamai Connected Cloud as well as Akamai’s portfolio of products outside North America, setting the framework for key market developments and expansion.

Prior to joining Akamai’s legal team in 2001, Deck served as Director of Legal and Business Affairs for a German affiliate of EMI Music and as Director of Content Acquisition for Kirch New Media.

He holds a legal degree from Eberhard Karls University, Tübingen, Germany.
